Johanna Reymann is a designer and researcher whose work explores how creative practices can be more sustainable—rethinking production, consumption, and material choices. Her projects range from tangible outcomes to process-based investigations, where documentation and inquiry are the final results. Central to her approach is a desire to reconnect with materials and question our definitions of waste, urging a reconsideration of how we assign value to objects and resources.
Currently pursuing a Master’s in Urban Futures at the FH Potsdam, Johanna is expanding her practice into the realm of urban research, focusing on the future of cities and the role of community in shaping them. She sees creative work as a powerful tool for social and cultural engagement and is particularly drawn to interdisciplinary collaboration. Her goal is to bring sustainability, culture, and social issues into dialogue through her work—creating spaces for reflection, participation, and change.
Johanna Reymann exhibited her project "Left Behind" at the "We Will Design" exhibition of BASE Milano during the Milan Design Week 2022 and showed her work at Dutch Design Week 2021. She graduated in Product Design from Minerva Art Academy in 2021, where she was a finalist for the Minerva Design Award.
